How to make dhikr:
(a) Niyyat

Transliteration:
A-oedhu billahi minash sheitanier-rajiem.
Biesmiellah hierahma nierragiem.
Astaqh-fie-roellah-hal-adhiem (Thrice).
Attouw-waa-barrahiem. Alladhie laa ielaha iellaa, hoewal geiyyoel qeiyyoem wa atoeboe ieleih, wa as-aloeka toubatan wa maghfierah, iennaka antat-touwaaa-boeragiem.
Allaahoemma sollie wa salliem alaa Seiyiedienaa Moegammad
wa alaa aaliehie wa asgaabiehie ajma-ien (Thrice).
Alfatigatoe lieriedaa-iellaahie ta aala
(Recite the Fatihah).
Translation:
I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaytan.
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Beneficent. I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty, the Granter of Repentance, the Most Beneficent; there is no GOD other than He, the Everliving, the Eternal, and I turn to Him in repentance. I ask Thee for repentance and forgiveness; truely Thou art the One who grants Repentance, the Most Beneficent. 0 Allah! Place Thine peace and blessings upon our Master, Muhammad, and upon all of his kinsfolk and Companions.
Allaahoemma sollie wa salliem alaa Seiyiedienaa Moegammad wa alaa aaliehie wa asqaabiehie ajma-ien.
(0 Allah! Place Thine peace and blessings upon our Master, Muhammad, and upon all or his kinsfolk and Companions.)
Or any other Salawaat.
Alfatigatoe lieriedaa iellahiie ta aala - soeratiel fatiehah
(I am reciting) the Fatihah to obtain the Satisfaction of Allah, the Most High
(Recite the Fatihah).
Alfatigatoe alaa roegie Seiyiedienaa wa Gabiebienaa wa
Sanadienaa wa Moulaanaa Moegammadien wa alaa aallehie wa asqaabiehie wa ahlie beitiehiel-kieraamiel-fatiegah
(Recite the Fatihah).
(I am reciting) the Fatihah on the soul of our Master, our Beloved, our Chief, and our Lord, Muhammad, and upon his kinsfolk, his Companions, and the noble members of his family (Recite the Fatihah).
Alfatigatoe alaa arwaagie jamie-ie ahlies-saalieqien, rahmatoellaahie aleihiem, wa alaa roegie ....... wa........, wa alaa arwaagie jamie-iel-moesliemien wal moesliemaat wal moemienien wal moe'mienaat, ieghfierlahoem wargamhoem, Yaa Allah, bie 'goermatie soeratiel fatiehah (Recite the Fatihah),
(I am reciting) the Fatihah on the souls of the pious people, may the blessings of Allah be upon them, and upon the soul of ...... and of .... .; (insert names of your beloved) and upon the souls of all the Muslims, males and females/ and all the believers, male and female. 0 Allah! Forgive them and place Thine blessings upon them through the reverent status of the Fatihah (Recite the Fatihah).
Thikr:
(i) Mondays:
Laa goula wa laa qoewwata iellaa biellahiel alieyyiel adniem.
(There is no strength or power except with Allah, the Most High, the Great.)
(ii) Tuesdays:
Allaahoemma sollie wa salliem alaa Seiyiedienaa Moegammad wa alaa aaliehie wa asgaabiehie ajma-ien
(0 Allah! Place Thine peace and blessings upon our Master, Muhammad, and upon all of his kinsfolk and Companions.)
(iii) Wednesdays:
Astagfieroellaah-hal-adhiem.
(I seek the forgiveness of Allah, the Almighty.)
(iv) Thursdays:
Soebgaanallaahie wa bie-gamdieh,
(Free of all imperfection is Allah, and all praises belong to Him.)
(v) Fridays:
Yaa Allah.
(vi) Saturdays:
Laa ielaaha iellallaah
(There is no god other than Allah)
(vii) Sundays:
Yaa Geiyyoe Yaa Qeiyyoem
(0 Everliving, 0 Eternal).
After daily dhikr, make dua.
Recite the following adhkar on the days as indicated.
Work towards reciting each one a thousand times a day. Start with a small amount every day, and increase the amounts until a thousand is reached every day.
(1000 approximately 15 to 20 minutes)
If possible, observe the following rules of conduct during the dhikr:
(a) Have wudu,
(b) Face the qiblah,
(c) Keep the voice low,
(d) Sit humbly,
(e) Concentrate on the words,
(f) Sit somewhere alone.
NOTE:
This athkar (programme) can be recited whilst on Haj, ie. In the Haram Shareef, Mina/Moesdalifah, Arafa,etc., after salaah, whilst sitting idle in the masjiet or any other occasion.
